Senator Lou D’Allesandro
Deputy Democratic Leader
Serving District 20 since 1998
Sen. Lou D’Allesandro is serving his seventh term representing District 20 in the New Hampshire Senate.
An active member of the local community, Lou has served in many civic capacities, including as a volunteer with the National Council on Alcoholism and as a member of the Manchester Board of School Committee. He currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Members First Credit Union and is the former vice chairman of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston’s board of directors.
He has served as chairman of the New England Board of Higher Education, a congressionally authorized interstate compact designed to encourage cooperation among New England-based colleges and universities.
He is a member of The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Inc., and is a director of the New Hampshire Hockey Hall of Fame. He was just recently named to the University of New Hampshire’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
Lou lives in Manchester with his wife, Patricia. They have three children and nine grandchildren.
Represents: Goffstown and Wards 3, 4, 10 and 11 in the city of Manchester.
