Senator Jeanne Diestch

Biography

Senator Jeanne Dietsch is serving her first term representing Senate District 9. For the 2019-2020 legislative session, she serves as the vice-chairwoman of the Energy and Workforce Development Committee and is a member of the Ways and Means Committee.

 

Senator Dietsch hails from Peterborough and lives with her husband, Dr. Bill Kennedy. Senator Diestch earned a masters of public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government As founder of two local startups, she has brought millions of out-of-state dollars and created dozens of good-paying jobs in the NH economy over the course of 20 years.  

 

Over the past 2 years, Senator Dietsch has helped the Peterborough Economic Development Authority develop a strategic plan to attract youth and build commercial and industrial activity. Senator Diestch also served on the  Conval School Board and also won election to the Peterborough Zoning Board of Adjustment, where she was elected chair.

Senate District 9 includes the towns of Bedford, Dublin, Fitzwilliam, Greenfield, Hancock, Jaffrey, Lyndeborough, Mont Vernon, New Boston, Peterborough, Richmond, Sharon, Temple and Troy.​
