Several of these candidates will also be featured on the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee's Spotlight Races page.

"As a former State Senator in Illinois, President Obama understands how important it is that we elect strong leaders at the state level. His support for these nine State Senate candidates is further proof that the New Hampshire State Senate is one of the most competitive legislative chambers in the country. In November we will elect a Democratic majority dedicated to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to be successful. We will protect public education, pass paid family and medical leave, and ensure that everyone has access to quality, affordable health care.
