Senator Rosenwald Introduces SB 290 to Improve the New Hampshire Granite Advantage Health Care Progr
CONCORD—Today, Senator Rosenwald introduced SB 290-FN, which would make improvements to the New Hampshire Granite Advantage Health Care program, including allowing general funds to be used for the program and clarifying the work and community engagement requirement.
Senator Rosenwald released the following statement after the hearing:
“With the Trump administration’s continued efforts to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, it is incumbent upon every New Hampshire legislator to work to put systems in place to protect the health and wellbeing of Granite Staters. I’m proud to introduce SB 290, which clarifies the work and community engagement requirement to ensure it fulfills the spirit of the bipartisan Medicaid expansion compromise reached last session and improves health outcomes instead of ending in arbitrary loss of coverage for thousands.”
