Senate Unanimously Adopts Recommended Improvements to NH Children’s System of Care

CONCORD—Today the New Hampshire Senate voted 24-0 to pass SB 14-FN, to establish a statewide children’s mobile crisis response in alignment with the DCYF Adequacy and Enhancement Assessment, the federal The Family First Prevention Services Act, and the 10-Year Mental Health Plan.

Senator Feltes released the following statement after the vote:

“SB 14 is a cost-effective children’s system of care that will timely address the critical needs of our children, thereby reducing significant mental health, special education, and child protection costs down the road. It’s encouraging to see such strong bipartisan support for this commonsense measure to protect New Hampshire’s future—our children.”
