Bipartisan Bill to Honor Granite Staters Passed by NH Senate

CONCORD - Today, the Senate passed HB 1135, 24-0. The bill incorporates several naming bills passed earlier this session to honor the work of Granite Staters across sectors and add Holocaust and genocide studies to the definition of an adequate education.

After the vote Senator David Watters (D-Dover) issued the following statement:

“As a Senate we are proud to recognize the service of Granite Staters like Specialist Marc P. Decoteau and Officer Stephen Arkell,” stated Senator David Watters (D-Dover). “As a Legislature, it is an honor to publicly remember their contributions to New Hampshire. Together, we honor the service of Specialist Decoteu, Officer Arkell, Judge Casassa, Judge Frasier, and the soldiers who fought and lost their lives during the invasion of Normandy in World War II.”
