CONCORD - Today, HB 1182, a bipartisan omnibus transportation bill, was signed into law.
Senate Transportation Chair David Watters (D-Dover) issued the following statement in response:
“I’m pleased to see HB 1182 signed into law today. This carefully crafted, bipartisan legislation is the result of the collaborative efforts of the House Public Works Committee, the Senate Transportation Committee, and NHDOT Commissioner Victoria Sheehan and her team. This legislation will strengthen our economy through the Ten-Year Highway Plan, keep our roads safe, and support career and technical education. I am proud to have co-sponsored the amended bill along with Senator Birdsell and commend the tireless work of all those involved.”
