CONCORD - Today, Governor Sununu announced the continuation of the “Don’t Go Viral” advertising campaign, aimed at encouraging young adults and college students to wear a mask. The funding for the campaign has been made available through CAREs Act funding.

Senator Cindy Rosenwald (D-Nashua) issued the following statement in response:

“As recently as this morning we were hearing from health care facilities who are concerned about a lack of funding. The continuation of an advertising campaign aimed at a demographic who has already been diligent about wearing masks is a waste of money, particularly when one of the main platforms used in the last campaign is constantly being threatened with a shut down by President Trump.”
