Medicaid Dental Benefits to Be Discussed in State Budget

CONCORD – Today, after a unanimous vote of Ought to Pass, the Senate laid SB 150 on the table in order to discuss the measure as a part of the budget process. SB 150, prime sponsored by Senator Cindy Rosenwald (D-Nashua), establishes a dental benefit under the state Medicaid program.
After the vote, Senator Cindy Rosenwald (D-Nashua) issued the following statement:
“SB 150 is a win for public health, workforce development, financial security, and will save the state a significant amount of money in long term dental-related health care. I am grateful to my colleagues for their bipartisan support of this long overdue measure and look forward to bringing it forward as a part of the state budget.”
