Republicans Have Delayed COVID-19 Vaccinations for NH Children

CONCORD – Today, during a meeting of the Health and Human Services Oversight Committee, DHHS Commissioner Lori Shibinette informed committee members that COVID-19 vaccines for New Hampshire’s children will be delayed as a result of the Republican members of the Executive Council rejecting $27 million in CDC vaccination funds.
Senator Cindy Rosenwald (D-Nashua) issued the following statement in response:
“Just yesterday, there were new 192 cases of COVID-19 in people under the age of 18. By bowing to the whims of anti-vaccine extremists, the Republican Councilors have prolonged our children's exposure to infection. The Republican members of the Executive Council should be ashamed of themselves.”
