CONCORD – Yesterday, Governor Sununu signed SB 101, Senate Democratic Leader Donna Soucy’s (D-Manchester) bill to increase the business income threshold at which businesses must file a business profits tax return.
Prime Sponsor Senate Democratic Leader Donna Soucy (D-Manchester) issued the following statement:
“SB 101 represents a huge win for New Hampshire small businesses, particularly during a time when many are struggling to rebuild in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. By increasing the business income threshold at which businesses need to file a business profits tax return, we have eliminated unnecessary financial and administrative burdens for our small business community. This pro-workforce measure will help bolster our small businesses and encourage economic growth here in the Granite State.”
