SB 101 Unanimously Passes Through House Ways and Means

CONCORD – Today, SB 101, prime sponsored by Senate Democratic Leader Donna Soucy (D-Manchester) was unanimously voted Ought to Pass with Amendment by the House Ways and Means Committee. SB 101 increases the minimum gross business income required for filing a business profits tax return.
After the vote, Senate Democratic Leader Donna Soucy (D-Manchester) issued the following statement:
“New Hampshire’s economy is driven by small business owners and self employed entrepreneurs. SB 101 will relieve thousands of our small businesses of an unnecessary financial and administrative burden at a time when many of them are only beginning to financially recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. I thank the House Ways and Means Committee for their diligent work to support our small businesses.”
