CONCORD - Yesterday, SB 146, an act adopting omnibus legislation relative to the environment, was signed into law.
Prime sponsor Senator David Watters (D-Dover) issued the following statement in response:
“Every day, we see the devastating effects of climate change. There is no more time to delay steps that will move us towards a more sustainable future. This bipartisan bill takes important steps to reduce ocean plastic pollution and to protect our coastal environment by establishing the NH Coastal Program. I am happy to see SB 146 signed into law and will continue to put forward legislation that prioritizes the health and preservation of our land, air, and water.”
