Sen. Rosenwald Champions Dental Benefits for Medicaid Enrollees; Bill Passes with Bipartisan Support

CONCORD – Today, the Senate passed SB 150, Senator Cindy Rosenwald’s (D-Nashua) bill establishing a dental benefit under the state Medicaid program, in a vote of 24-0.
After the vote, Senator Cindy Rosenwald (D-Nashua) issued the following statement:
“It is long past time that New Hampshire provided dental benefits to the over 120,000 Granite Staters who rely on Medicaid for their health care. SB 150 is a win for public health, workforce development, financial security, and will save the state a significant amount of money in long term dental-related health care. I thank my colleagues for their support and the advocates whose years of hard work have led us to SB 150’s passage today.”
