Senate Commerce Committee Passes SB 14

CONCORD – Today, the Senate Commerce Committee unanimously passed SB 14 in a vote of 5-0. SB 14 allows the liquor commission to register trade names with the secretary of state to operate as a direct shipper of liquor and wine.
After the vote, prime sponsor Senator Lou D’Allesandro (D-Manchester) issued the following statement:
“Senate Bill 14 is a critical piece of bipartisan legislation that will allow NH to maintain its competitive edge in the selling and delivery of spirits and wine. This policy stands to significantly bolster spirits and wine revenue in NH and to enhance access to consumers, both here in NH and around the country.”
