Senate Passes SB 95, Provides Option for Remote Meetings

CONCORD – Last week, the Senate unanimously passed SB 95. SB 95 extends the option for governmental entities to hold remote meetings through July 1, 2022.
After the vote, Senator Rebecca Perkins Kwoka (D-Portsmouth) issued the following statement:
“The past year has forced us to rethink the way we approach local government. Remote meetings have increased the efficiency, participation, and accessibility for our cities and towns. I am extremely proud of the bipartisan work that went into crafting this bill and look forward to our continued work on this important legislation.”
