CONCORD – Today, the Senate Finance Committee voted Ought to Pass on Senator Cindy Rosenwald’s (D-Nashua) bill, SB 412, making an appropriation to the department of health and human services for nursing home reimbursement rates. The bill will next be brought before the full Senate for a vote.
After the vote, prime sponsor Senator Cindy Rosenwald (D-Nashua) issued the following statement:
“This bill simply seeks to fulfill the promise the Senate made to our nursing homes during the last budget cycle. Through an inadvertent error, the rate increase intended in the last budget has yet to be fully implemented. I thank my colleagues for their swift action and support of this critical bill.”
