CONCORD - Today, Senator Cindy Rosenwald (D-Nashua) issued the following statement after Granite Staters reported that they were unable to register for their second COVID vaccine through Governor Sununu’s vaccination program:
“Minutes after Governor Sununu’s COVID vaccination portal opened, I received a number of complaints from constituents who said they were experiencing issues with the website and were unable to schedule their second dose of the COVID vaccine, even though they had cancelled a previous appointment. Many of the Granite Staters registering today are elderly and were counting on the state’s system to work. Instead, they are anxious and upset, forced to deal with technical issues and canceled appointments, putting them further away from getting the life-saving vaccine. I am calling on Chris Sununu to hold a briefing immediately to explain what went wrong and what his administration is doing to get Granite Staters registered for their next appointments. I am also calling on the Governor to open an investigation so that the next opportunity for Granite Staters to get the vaccine does not contribute to their frustration as it did today.”
