CONCORD – Today, Senator Tom Sherman (D-Rye) introduced SB 123 to the Senate Health and Human Services Committee. SB 123 builds on the Senate Democrat’s Granite Commitment to advocate for policies that put COVID-19 relief and recovery at the forefront by waiving cost-sharing for COVID-19 testing.
After the hearing, prime sponsor Senator Tom Sherman (D-Rye) issued the following statement:
“The importance of testing for COVID-19 cannot be understated to get Granite Staters safely back to work. SB 123 is an important tool to remove barriers to access and ensures that testing remains an affordable option for all.”
