CONCORD – Today, Senate Democratic Leader Donna Soucy (D-Manchester) introduced SB 101 to the Senate Ways and Means Committee to increase the minimum gross business income required for filing a business profits tax return. SB 101 mirrors the language of last year’s SB 223-FN which unanimously passed the Senate.
After the hearing, Senate Democratic Leader Donna Soucy (D-Manchester) issued the following statement:
“SB 101 is common sense measure to relieve thousands of our small businesses of an unnecessary financial and administrative burden. Last year, the Senate unanimously passed a similar piece of legislation and I look forward to continued bipartisan support for our small businesses.”
