CONCORD – Today, the Senate Health and Human Services Committee unanimously passed SB 98 in a vote of 5-0. SB 98, prime sponsored by Senator Becky Whitley (D-Concord), establishes a SNAP health incentive program with state support.
After the hearing, prime sponsor Senator Becky Whitley (D-Concord) issued the following statement:
“SB 98 is a triple win for New Hampshire. By implementing SNAP health incentive programs we are putting money back into the local economy, supporting health benefits for our most vulnerable populations, and creating additional opportunities for our local farmers. I thank my colleagues for their bipartisan support and look forward to bringing this bill before the full Senate.”
