US Census Bureau Releases New Data

CONCORD – Today, the US Census Bureau released the results of the 2020 census. Notably, this data will be used in the coming months to redraw district lines across the state and the nation.
Senate Democratic Leader Donna Soucy (D-Manchester) issued the following statement in response to the data:
“Every ten years, the New Hampshire legislature redraws the lines that will make up our political districts for the next decade. This process is a fundamental part of our democracy and must be conducted in a way that is open and transparent to Granite State voters. I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to draw fair and equitable maps.”
